One of the best things about Missional Communities is that they provide a great place to help people grow and develop in spiritual gifts. I think one of the most important things I can do as a leader is to help people to do that – after all, it’s much better to help people hear God’s voice for themselves rather than me telling them what I think about things all the time! We’ve been chatting to Cath Livesey, Team Leader for Accessible Prophecy, about her new book “My Sheep Have Ears” which will be released in the next few weeks:

Cath – tell us a bit about yourself:

I live in Sheffield and have been involved in prophetic ministry for over 15 years. For the last 10 years, I have overseen the prophetic ministry here at St Thomas’ Church, which has involved things like teaching, mentoring, leading ministry sessions, and leading a prophetic counsel to serve the church.

rejDgGXbOver the last few years I have worked a lot more with other churches that have wanted to learn what we have developed here and how they can embrace this kind of culture too. That’s involved developing various forms of training, coaching and resourcing, which I have done as part of the 3DM Europe team here.
